A Radical Sociology Devoid of Biblical Theology: Randall Terry Becomes Catholic

National Catholic Register Reading this article confirms what I had often thought about Randall Terry.  He is on the right side (though his methodology is often askew) of the abortion issue, but devoid of much in the way of biblical theology.  Not that I had delved deep into Terry’s background, but based upon his public appearances, he seemed a bit shallow when it came to Scripture.  So, no wonder that he would move into...

Give Me More End-Zone Prayers

Lamb sacrifice in vain – Yahoo! News Football players praying and pointing skyward in the end zone after a touch down has been sometimes cute but more often annoying. Giving God glory for a touch down – well – that’s another post. Amazingly, some soccer fans have gone way beyond end-zone prayers. Some of the reports of persecution included church burnings in South Asia and Christians being deported from Western Europe. However, the good news is that YOU and I can do things to support these persecuted believers. We can pray for them daily. You can let your church know about the persecuted and educate your church. And you can share information that ministries that specialize and focus on the persecuted send out. Check out VOM’s blog. I’ve begun syndicating...
