Here is some recent data on mega churches in America. Will the mega model continue to thrive? It still seems that the moderate sized church finds the broadest ministry impact in America.

    Huge auditorium, stadium seating, dim lights – finally, a church where you can nod off without fear of being spotted by the pastor!

    Justin – HA! – that’s why we use 4 100 watt bulbs in each light fixture. Some think it is so that we can create a feel for the radiance of God’s glory. Yes, but it is also to catch criminal sleepers. Some get even with us though by shaving their heads bald, so when their head slumps in their slumber, the preacher is then blinded by the glare. That’s when we launch into a profound invitation speech on “I’ve just seen the glory.” I’ll be watching you.
