Why post on Pat’s comments calling for the assaination of Hugo Chavez when Mohler sufficiently spanks him?
Unbelievable statements by Robertson. They are not the first of this sort. It seems his political objectives get more and more attention in desperate advocacy that shows little faith in the ultimate power of God. In my lifetime, I have seen Pat Robertson change from an agenda of providing a forum for Christians to organize to now being a political machine that acts in ways that are not, in my opinion, holy.
Robertson has done what Muslim clerics are accused of these days. He used his religious position of power to advocate a political cause where the ends justifies the means even if those means go against that religion. Christian assassinations and Islamic terrorism are in the same category of anathema. They are equally diabolical.
Yes, Mohler got it right.
